    About me

     

    My name is Michael Hebben, and I started my career in the field of Intensive Care Medicine. After many years of non-stop work. I decided a new direction was needed and I undertook a master’s degree in Change Management. As a result, I worked for various start-up companies, both large and small, as an independent consultant.

     

    Although I enjoyed this new direction , it wasn’t until I went on a trip to Africa and experienced its beauty firsthand, that I found my true calling. I began to understand the profound impact nature can have on personal development, and how it can help us all towards a new level of fulfilment in both our professional and personal lives.

     

    My practice is focused on supporting companies and individuals in making connections with nature, with each other, and ultimately, with themselves. In order to help companies and individuals achieve this, in addition to my qualifications in Change Management, I am a certified Nature Coach (ICF), Shinrin Yoku guide, Breathwork Instructor (yogalab, Oxygen Advantage), and I am training to become a qualified Mountain Leader.

    Learning to breath for a sustainable life

     

     

    The term Breathwork refers to any type of breathing practice in which the conscious control of breathing is said to influence a person’s mental, emotional or physical state. Many forms of Breathwork exist today and each has its own unique method.

    At breathwork Mont blanc, our practices can vary in duration, intensity and purpose.

    • They can be as simple as a few minutes’ exercise to promote mental focus and relax.
    • They can last for an hour or more, creating altered states of consciousness and a deeply personal psychotherapeutic process.

    Used regularly, breath work can help people develop the skill of relaxation, even in challenging situations.

    Breath work is at the core of many psychological therapies, meditation and yoga practices and is used in the preparation and cool-down phases of many physical activities. Breath work can be practiced by all ages in all circumstances including; schools, the workplace, hospitals, and during periods of stress.

    Breath work is not practiced while under the influence of mind-altering substances, when it is not possible to be fully conscious
